This course is ideal for new users with a basic knowledge of programming and individuals who want to refresh their LabVIEW knowledge.

Course overview:
We will take you on a journey through LabVIEW, starting with the basics. By the end of this course, you will be proficient in:

• Creating applications in the LabVIEW programming environment
• Communicating with and reading data from NI-DAQ devices
• Saving and reading data from disk
• Displaying measurement data on the user interface
• Developing LabVIEW applications for simple automated measurements
• Extend programmes with functionalities to analyse measurements
• Using common design patterns in LabVIEW
• Troubleshooting and debugging LabVIEW code

LabVIEW Advanced course

Ideal for people who have completed the Fundamentals course or have a similar level and find it difficult to scale up their applications. This course is designed for creating medium to large applications, through the use of new design patterns and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

Course overview:
This advanced course goes beyond the basics and prepares you for the complexities involved in professional software development for medium to large applications.

• Design and scale large applications beyond basic design patterns
• Managing communication between parallel loops using Queues and Events
• Apply Graphical Object-Oriented Programming (GOOP) for reliable and scalable application development
• Using OpenGDS development suite to create classes and methods.
• Integrating classes with fundamental design patterns/architectures for developing comprehensive applications
• Creating installers, executables and packages for application deployment
• Introduction to source code control (SCC)
• Introduction to UML Class Diagrams for efficient design and documentation
